My name is Kathy. I live in Tampa, Fl with my husband of 25 plus years and we have 2 amazing sons. Dylan, the oldest, graduated from UCF in 2016 and works for the State of Florida as a Probation Officer. Derek will graduate from Saint Leo University in 2018. He’s been actively involved in ROTC and will become an Officer in the U.S. Army upon graduating.
Our family has been through a lot of trials, but we’ve always stuck together and have made it through the challenges. We moved from Massachusetts to Florida in 2008…. the best move ever! Someday I’ll tell you how we got here but for now I’ll just share that our move was only made possible because of one of the most horrible, dark times we’ve ever experienced.
Once again, we’ve found ourselves in a period of difficulty. Fortunately, though, we how have a weapon that we haven’t had through previous times of major challenge. Although we both had faith in God when we met and got married, we’ve been blessed to have been called into much deeper understanding and relationship with Him over the last several years. The spiritual growth that we’ve enjoyed has given us peace and hope despite the current storms that are waging against us.
We all go through painful times. It really doesn’t matter if you and I are faced with the same issues or not. I truly believe that you too can find calm in the middle of the storms.
